The KDMF seeks to help others and to make our community a better place in which to live. In so doing, the KDMF annually provides a variety of scholarships to high school seniors about to further their education in a technical program or in a two or four-year college program. To apply, complete the attached application and return to your high school guidance office. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-vivid-red-color has-text-color wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Please click on the links below for scholarship applications.  The deadline for filing your application is April 3, 2026.   <\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-large-font-size wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Katie DeCubellis Memorial Foundation Scholarship<\/strong> <a href=\"http:\/\/kdmf.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/2026_Memorial-Scholarship-Application.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">(Application)<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-normal-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">The KDMF awards one annual \u201cKatie DeCubellis Memorial Scholarship\u201d in the amount of $6,000 ($1500 \/ year renewable for three years) to a Senior high school student and Narragansett resident, who best exemplifies Katie\u2019s qualities of friendship, community service and academic excellence. Applicants should maintain a \u201cB\u201d or better average and demonstrate a strong commitment to extracurricular activities and community service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-large-font-size wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Make a Difference Scholarship<\/strong> (<a href=\"http:\/\/kdmf.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/2026_Make-a-Difference-Scholarship-Application.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Application<\/a>)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">KDMF \u201cMake a Difference\u201d Scholarships in the amount of $1,000 are awarded annually to two (2) Senior students in Rhode Island who best exemplify the ability to make a difference in our community through their leadership, commitment and active involvement in their high school\u2019s SADD, youth-to-youth, natural helpers or other organization that specifically targets substance abuse prevention and awareness and\/or good decision making. Students must also maintain good academic standing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-large-font-size wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Nobody\u2019s Glory \u2013 Everybody\u2019s Gain Scholarship<\/strong> (<a href=\"http:\/\/kdmf.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/2026_Nobodys-Glory-Scholarship-Application.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Application<\/a>)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">KDMF \u201cNobody\u2019s Glory \u2026 Everybody\u2019s Gain\u201d Scholarships in the amount of $1,000 are awarded annually to two (2) Senior students in Rhode Island who best exemplify a positive attitude and commitment to their school community to be \u201cthat\u201d person who always steps up and gets the job done, while also maintaining good academic standing! Whether it\u2019s organizing your school dance, selling those raffle tickets, and generally assisting whenever and wherever you are needed. No job too small! Is your school a better place because of your efforts?
